Pinoso is in the wider borough of Monovar which has many vineyards upon which the prosperity of the area was built. The town has excellent schools and colleges and there are lots of play areas for children.
The town is traditionally Spanish and entertains a variety of fairs, fiestas, music dance and festivals.
