The work of Museo de Alfarería (the ceramic museum) and initiatives such as “the piece of the year” have helped put Agost on the map and the destination today proudly boasts a reputation of excellence for its ceramics.  Some of Agost’s skilled ceramists open the doors of their workshops to visitors and others offer experiences in which you can sit behind the potter’s wheel to shape your own piece.
